The weekend highlighted the continued growth and competitive spirit of Kingston United teams across multiple age groups.

Among the standout performances, the U11 Boys captured the spotlight by earning the title of Division Champions . Throughout the tournament, the team displayed strong teamwork, disciplined defending, and creative attacking play, ultimately finishing the weekend undefeated and lifting the championship trophy.

The U12 Girls also delivered an outstanding performance, claiming the Division Championship in their bracket. The team showed tremendous determination and composure throughout the tournament, combining strong defensive organization with confident attacking play to secure the title. Kingston United Soccer Club delivered another strong performance at the 2025 Adidas Clash Tournament in Greensboro, North Carolina, this past weekend. The club sent nine teams , spanning U9 through U14 , to compete against top regional competition—marking one of the largest tournament showings in Kingston United history.

Among the standout performances, the U12 Boys captured the spotlight by earning the title of Division Champions , showcasing discipline, teamwork, and a dynamic all-around style of play. Their championship win highlighted a weekend of growth and high-level soccer across the club.

The U14 Boys also made an impressive run, advancing to the championship match after a series of tough, hard-fought performances. In a dramatic final that ended in a draw, the team ultimately fell in penalty kicks, finishing as Finalists and earning praise for their grit and composure under pressure.

The Kingston United Boys 2008/09 team continued their impressive track record this year, stepping up to compete in the highly competitive U19 division and once again earning the title of Finalists . Despite playing up in age and facing older, more experienced opponents, the team displayed remarkable resilience, maturity, and quality throughout the tournament.

Kingston United advanced through group play with disciplined defending, consistent effort, and a calm, possession-based style that has become a trademark of the program. Their strong performances secured a place in the championship match — marking another consecutive year the group has reached a tournament final.

Spring Publix Open Cup Finalists

Our U13 Boys had an awesome showing this weekend in Columbia, SC, going up against some of the best teams in the state—and walking away as Finalists in a tough, competitive tournament!

With games back-to-back, the boys were tested both mentally and physically, and they rose to the occasion. They played with heart, showed great teamwork, and gave it everything they had from start to finish.

One of the highlights was a thrilling semi-final match where the boys showed just how far they’ve come. Their focus, effort, and smart play helped them earn a big win and a shot at the championship. While the final didn’t go our way, the fight and determination they showed all weekend was something to be proud of.

This run is a direct result of the hard work they’ve put in all season. Every practice, every game—it’s all paying off. More than just their performance on the field, we’re proud of the way they carried themselves with sportsmanship, respect, and team spirit.

A big thank you to our coaches for their constant guidance and support, and to all the parents and fans who made the trip and cheered them on—you were a huge part of the experience.

Coast Spring Classic Finalists

What a weekend for Kingston United! Our club took five teams down to Myrtle Beach for the 2025 Coast Spring Classic on April 26–27, and they didn’t disappoint. With great weather, tough competition, and plenty of exciting moments, our players gave it everything they had out on the field.

Out of the five teams that competed, two finished as Finalists in their divisions—a huge accomplishment in a tournament packed with strong teams from across the region. The other squads battled hard in every match, showing tons of heart and making big strides in their development.

Tournaments like this are more than just wins and losses—they're a chance for players to grow, bond with teammates, and learn through competition. And this weekend, our players did exactly that. From the first whistle to the last, they played with passion, grit, and great sportsmanship.

“We’re proud of every single kid who played this weekend,” said a club rep. “It’s always fun to see the hard work from practice show up in games—and to see our teams support each other like a true club family.”

A big thank you to our coaches for leading the way, and to all the parents and families who came and cheered from the sidelines. Your support means everything.

Youth soccer excitement filled Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, during the YMCA Can Am Cup 2025, a two-day showcase of competition, camaraderie, and fun. Hosted at Grande Park at Market Commons, this event welcomed teams from South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia, offering multiple levels of play for players to test their skills and enjoy the tournament atmosphere.

Representing Kingston United, the U10 Boys team delivered an outstanding performance. They charged through their division’s group stage with three consecutive victories, securing a spot in the finals. Though they narrowly missed the top prize, finishing as finalists was a testament to their hard work, teamwork, and commitment on the field.

“We’re incredibly proud of how our U10 Boys rose to the challenge,” said coach Paul Rhea. “They played with heart, supported one another, and showcased the kind of sportsmanship we value at Kingston United.”

Kingston United Soccer Club made a strong impression at the 2025 Race City Classic, held March 1–2 across North Carolina and South Carolina. Hosted by Charlotte Independence, this annual tournament brought together U11–U19 Boys teams competing in Mooresville, Huntersville, and Cornelius (NC) and U11–U14 Girls teams in Fort Mill and Rock Hill (SC).

The club sent five teams to face some of the region’s toughest opponents. After a weekend of high-energy matches and standout performances, Kingston United celebrated two division championship titles—one claimed by the U13 Boys and another by the U12 Boys Gold. Meanwhile, the other three teams fought hard and demonstrated notable growth, showcasing their resilience and commitment to the game.

Known for its competitive field, the Race City Classic offered players an opportunity to refine their skills, learn from varied playing styles, and bond with teammates in a supportive, challenging environment. Our U17 Boys team showcased their talent and determination at the South Carolina Publix Open Cup, held in Lexington, SC! Competing against some of the best teams in the state, they played with heart, skill, and teamwork, ultimately earning the title of Finalists in this highly competitive tournament.

The tournament filled with back-to-back matches that tested the players' resilience and commitment. From the opening whistle to the final game, the U17 Boys demonstrated their ability to rise to the challenge, making incredible plays and leaving everything on the field.

One of the highlights of the weekend was the team’s thrilling semi-final match. Their tactical awareness and relentless effort resulted in a well-deserved victory, propelling them to the championship game. This past weekend, Kingston United Soccer Club had an incredible showing at the Florence Cup, hosted by Florence Soccer Academy in Florence, South Carolina. The tournament, held at one of the top soccer complexes in the state, featured over 100 teams from across the region, making for an exciting and competitive atmosphere.

Kingston United sent 7 teams to participate, and we are thrilled to announce that four of our teams made it to the finals in their respective divisions. The U10 Boys, U11 Boys, U13 Boys, and U17 Boys battled their way through tough competition, showcasing their skill, teamwork, and determination. All four teams finished as proud finalists, bringing home well-deserved recognition for their hard work and sportsmanship.

The tournament not only provided quality competition but also featured excellent facilities and professional refereeing, ensuring a great experience for all involved. We are excited to share that the Kingston United Soccer Club Boys U17 team, a brand new team competing together for the first time, has achieved an impressive finish as finalists in the DICK's Sporting Goods Invitational! The tournament, held on August 24-25, 2024, in Charlotte, North Carolina, featured numerous games across the region, making it a premier event for teams to jumpstart their season.
